Welcome to the official Online Publication of The Chickamauga Nation, affectionately called Talontuskee’s Talking Leaves.
We will publish academic articles drawing on the more than 450,000 pages, or 90+ cases of paper, of academically verified research that on July 18, 2019, the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs requested us to provide in order to prove our identity, history, and anthropology. We went above and beyond expectations and now they refuse to accept our research because it is in a digital format and not paper. Most of their offices could not hold the 90 cases of our academically verified history, and anthropology that they requested.
We will publish commentary and we will call it commentary. We will publish news for our people and we will call it news for our people. We will publish a calendar, and yes, we will call it our calendar. The one thing we currently need is a great cartoonist who will take our humor, run with it, and make us all laugh.
We will bring up questions and write about issues most people fear to consider. We proudly wear the moniker “Merciless, Savage Indians,” as the government identified us in the Declaration of Independence. We proudly wear the moniker “untaxed Indians,” as the government identified us in the Constitution.
Do not believe anything on the internet as historically or anthropologically factual. In all of our research, we have found a majority of what is on the internet to be whitewashed and redwashed history which proves to be in conflict with the actual government documents in the National Archives. We will publish articles that will be provocative and cause people to get mad. If you get mad, upset, or doubt what you find here, do not believe it just because you read it here, research it for yourself using academically verified sources like we did. We are promoting only one agenda, the agenda of The Chickamauga Nation and its Citizens.
Here you will find articles that will challenge you and make you ask questions. Here you will find articles that will challenge everything you have ever been taught about the United States and their treatment of the Chickamauga. The hardest part for people to come to grips with is the fact that our National Executive Chiefs found this information in the National Archives, published by the United States government. Many in the government will wish that they had burned it rather than let the National Executive Chiefs of The Chickamauga Nation find it.
As you will quickly find, there is no topic we will shy away from, and maybe introduce a few controversies of our own into the national debate. Irreverent, possibly, controversial, probably, researched and documented, absolutely. When the Senate summarily dismissed us and told us to do academic research they did not remember their history, “never disrespect a Chickamauga, they like to fight.” The Senate and Congress disrespected the highly intellectual National Executive Chiefs of The Chickamauga Nation and now we will use the documentation of their National Archives to expose to the world the TRUE HISTORY of THE CHICKAMAUGA. We Will STAND!
