At the time of this posting, the request for Representative Westerman to meet with The Chickamauga Nation has not been acted upon.

It is apparent that Representative Westerman needs to be reminded that The Chickamauga Nation has Treaty Rights to meet with him whenever we see fit.

7 Statute 18 November 28, 1785 – The Treaty of Hopewell

ARTICLE XII.
That the Indians may have full confidence in the justice of the United States, respecting their interests, they shall have the right to send a deputy of their choice, whenever they think fit, to Congress.
