1828, February 21: – Elias Boudinot begins publication of the Cherokee Phoenix at New Echota.

1828, February 21: The above-described constitution was published in the Cherokee Phoenix on February 21, 1828 in New Echota, GA. Elias BOUDINOT was the Editor of the Cherokee Phoenix beginning on February 21, 1828 until the interference of the Georgia Guard in 1835.
