The Federally Recognized Sovereign Treaty Tribe of The Chickamauga Nation
The Chickamauga Nation IS a Federally Recognized Sovereign Treaty Tribe which has been statutorily enumerated by the Congress of the United States and had never been Congressionally Terminated. Therefore, The Chickamauga Nation is authorized to exercise all rights and privileges of being a Federally Recognized Tribe. The Congress of the United States placed The Chickamauga Nation on the List of Federally Recognized Tribes by the Indian Reorganization Act (IRA) 1934 Section 19 of the IRA, codified as 25 U.S.C. 461 as well as the Indian Civil Rights Act (ICRA) 1968 25 USC Chapter 15, Subchapter 1 §1301 (1).
The failure of an Executive Branch Agency in the Department of Interior named the Bureau of Indian Affairs has defied Congressional Legislative statutes and has taken The Chickamauga Nation off of the List bureaucratically which is now in violation of Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo and Relentless, Inc. v. Department of Commerce (2024).
