Introduction to this Series

‍

First and foremost, as a born-again, evangelical believer, a Licensed and Ordained Southern Baptist Minister, a Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary Graduate (MARE, 1993), a Reformed Theologian, as a licensed 7-12 social studies teacher (MA(T) 2010), and as a Chickamauga Chief affirming the traditional teaching of the Ceremonial Mound Complex culture and religion, I bring a unique understanding to this subject matter.

In the interest of brevity, in this series I am only hitting highlights and making broad strokes which if you have ever seen my research you know that is not within my normal wheelhouse. While trying to use brevity, I will not sacrifice integrity as a researcher or interpreter by quoting a single sentence to explain an idea, that is called“ proof texting,” and I refuse to lower my integrity to the level of those who engage in this practice.  I lengthen my writings because I refuse to proof text, I quote the entirety of the paragraph and sometimes two paragraphs to make sure the true meaning of the context is acquired by the reader.

Since the summer of 2019, the National Executive Chiefs of The Chickamauga Nation have committed themselves to historical and anthropological research.  That research was presented to academics in the fields of history and anthropology and the resulting work is that over 450,000 pages of research is academically verified.  An overwhelming majority of the research came from the various National Archives which made the verification process relatively simple, but it still had to be verified.

According to the Academic Verifiers, The Chickamauga Nation is federally recognized by the Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch of the United States Government.  When The Chickamauga Nation has requested to be placed on the Serviced Tribes Roll, the United States government has refused to talk to us about it. We have been summarily dismissed like children from the grown-ups' table at Sunday dinner.

What you will find in the upcoming series is a defining, opening salvo concerning one of the most feared indigenous peoples of the Southeast Ceremonial Complex.  You will learn about the Chickamauga, who they are, what they believe, where they come from and how they relate to the North American continent prior to 1776.

Each article takes you into the mindset of the Chickamauga and how they were treated and what they endured at the hands of White, Christian, Europeans.  Why should people care?  How can a people know how to make things right if they do not know what went wrong?  How can a people understand the devastating effects their ancestors promulgated if they are not taught the true history of the events that took place and continue to take place today?

‍

Upcoming Articles in the Series:

Article 1 is Hypocrites and Colonists

Article 2 is Defining Genocide / Ethnic Cleansing

Article 3 is Moving Ancient Boundary Markers

Article 4 is Colonial Covetousness

Article 5 is REBELLION

Article 6 is Conclusion

‍

White, European, Christians, and the United States Government and Allied Tribes confess what you have done, repent for what you have done, and make restitution for what you have done and continue to do to the Chickamauga.
