The President, Senate, Arkansas, Chickamauga, Du Chat Nation, a.k.a. Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma Inc (A Business)
What does history teach us? The United States did not understand that the Chickamauga and the Cherokee are two different governments, two different people groups, two different ethnicities, two different cultures, and two different worldviews. The du Chat Nation had been committing genocide against the Chickamauga since the early 1700s and these blood enemies could not have peace and still do not have peace today as evidenced in the 2022 Cherokee Tri-Council Meeting in Tahlequah, Oklahoma when the Council Members and their Chiefs called the Chickamauga enemies of the Cherokee people.
The United States should have honored its treaties with the Chickamauga government and put the du Chat Nation somewhere else. The United States government should have protected the Chickamauga government in Indian Territory instead of rewarding the genocide of John Ross and giving the Chickamauga government and lands to the du Chat Nation of John Ross. The Chickamauga refused to go quietly into the night, and their ethnic cleansing then and now fully rests on the du Chat Nation of John Ross and the United States government.
